Printable Antique Butter Box

I picked up a beautifully aged antique butter box a few weeks ago and have created a printable of it, so you can make your own.  I love finding things like this that were meant to be disposed of (and usually were).  Generally, if you can find them, it's because the were unused stock, left in an old business.

My original box is extremely fragile and is missing one of the side flaps, so I did a little digital editing to fix it.

Here's the repaired version.
I sized the image to fit on a regular 8-1/2 x 11 piece of  paper, so you won't have a problem printing it on your printer.  I recommend card stock paper, or have it printed somewhere like Staples for a really vivid image with beautiful color.

Just print the image, cut along the outside lines, then cut on the "cut" lines and make folds on the rest of the lines.  The curved side flap keeps it all together when you fold it up - no tape needed, although you might want to put a dab of glue to keep the "lip" on the lid down.

I thought it would be fun to create another variation, so I used this image that I shared way back in August of 2011, removed the other typography, and digitally added it to the box.

I think these would make cute little gift boxes, as well as kitchen decor.
I hope you enjoy them!
