DIY Family Names Framed Print

I really, really, really, wanted to show you this project before Christmas, but I was making them as gifts
and my mom reads my blog, ("Hi, Mom!"), so I shared it as a guest post at My Repurposed Life
instead.   But, in case any of you didn't see it there, I thought I'd share it today, because I think these would make wonderful gifts any time of the year.
I was inspired by some similar ones I saw on Pinterest, and wanted to come up with my own variation of it.  I always feel a little bit justified for the time I spend on Pinterest, when I actually *make* something I pinned on one of my boards!

To create this, you'll need a frame, card stock paper, some shipping twine and adhesive scrapbooking letters - all inexpensive if you use discount coupons at Hobby Lobby.

I just choose a font and typed them using Word, then printed it out on the card stock paper.
I could have created my own little pennants, but I loved these cute little stickers I found, so I just stuck them to a length of shipping twine.
Decide how you want it to drape across your page, then stick down firmly.  Leave just a little excess twine on the sides to wrap behind the paper and tape on the backside, the put in your frame.  DONE!
It is SOOO easy and you can make this project for under $15 - even less if you buy a frame at a thrift store.
I made several of these as gifts, so here's 2 other variations I made.
