Antique Graphics Wednesday - 1900's Pocket Watch Advertisement

I love all antique graphics, but  some of my favorites to share with you are images of antique clocks and watches.  With the passage of time from 2012, to 2013, it seemed like a great time to share this great image from a 1908 magazine called, "The American Woman".  I shared the cover of this magazine with you HERE.

This is the full page the advertisement was on.  Not only are the ads fascinating, and somewhat amusing in their claims, but reading the smaller articles in the "Men, Women & Events" column is a really interesting glimpse back in time.
Here is just the pocket watch, with the background removed.
This magazine page was graciously sent to me by Audrey @ Timeless Treasures.
Thanks so much, Audrey!
Blessings,
Angie

  1. I don't know what it is about clock faces, but I just love them. I have been blogging 1 year this month and I remember your blog was one of my first to follow because of the clock faces. I just did our new year mantel in clock faces and am always looking for them when I am shopping.

    Happy New Year

    1. Thanks Pendra for the comment ... all the credit goes to Angie. I tell you, she has lots of old magazines to go through and is doing a fabulous job making them into usable graphics to share. I think there was eight pounds of magazines that I sent to her and I am so happy that she agreed to take them.
      Blessings.
