These 2 wonderful images of safety pins came from a 1911 magazine called, "The Modern Priscilla". This was an advertisement for safety pins made by the Oakville Company in Waterbury, Conn.
I think the open safety pin would look cute transferred onto a memo board and both of them
would be darling as enlarged art for a baby's room.
I have removed the backgrounds from both images so they can be layered over other images, using programs like Photoshop or Gimp.

Angie when I saw these it reminded me of something I saw for a babies room. It was a frame with 3 photos in it. the first photo is 2 large baby pins, the next one is the two large safety pins with a little safety pin inside one of the pins (baby) then the last one is 2 large safety pins with the small safety pin beside them. I thought it was so cute, who thinks of these things.
