Create a Banner with Printable Antique Bible Page

I'm still on a roll creating banners with old book pages and
have a few more I plan to design soon,
but I wanted to share the most recent one with you,
and provide you with a printable so you can easily create your
own, with whatever word(s) you want on it.
I love the look of old book pages, so I choose
antique Bible pages and used a stencil for both the "frame"
and the letters inside it.
My Bible pages are from the 1940's so they
have that lovely caramel color, but that also means
they are more fragile, so I put hole reinforcements
around the holes in the back to help prevent damage.

This banner is for sale in the shop HERE, but here's a
page with just the frame so you can
create your own banner.  Just save, add your letters and print!
To add lettering, either use
letter stencils, rubber stamps or edit the page using
Paint or Picmonkey (picmonkey.com).  Just right click, save
and open in one of those programs to create pages
with the letters you need, then print them, cut them out,
and punch holes in the corners to string them by.
Here's a page I added a letter to using Paint - super easy!

There's still time to enter the giveaway for a set of 5
Packaways storage containers - you'll love them!

  2. I love that! And love that it's on Bible pages. Perfect! Don't know why I haven't before, but I just took a look at your Etsy shop. It only took a page before I faved it. Added you to my circle as well. :-)

  6. You are really on a roll with those banners. Loving them all, but really love this one. Will copy the page and maybe do something with it for Christmas. The Country Store price tags banner is a favorite. I tried to find a place in my kitchen for it ... NOT ... no room.

    Audrey Z.

  7. Angie, you come up with the best ideas! This is beautiful. Thanks for coming by and checking out my post yesterday. I'm close to finishing the table with the graphic I got from you, and as soon as I put the finishing touches on it tomorrow, I'll be sure to post it with a link to your site. Thanks so much! I had a rough start with it but I love how it's turning out!

  14. Love the banner Angie. The vintage bible pages are wonderful! My daughter just made me a Nevermore banner to add to my Halloween mantel. She printed it on pages of an old medical book. Not as caramel colored as yours, but I love it for my Edgar Allen Poe themed mantel. Thanks for sharing the printable with Share Your Cup. I really love the frame.

  15. Want to thank you Angie for the banner page to download and print. You are so generous with your projects. Your banner with the frame is very pretty. I'll have to look for a stencil that has frames on it. Thanks again.
I have a bible I was given when I was about 6 I think for perfect attendance at Sunday School. That was around 1946 so guess my bible must have yellowed pages also. I still have it, it's moved all over the country but I couldn't ever get rid of it, I'm 72 now.
I noticed you have a new header, love it. I'll have to visit your blog more often as I do love it, always something wonderful on your blog. Happy Days Angie
