Book Cover Chalkboards

I recently got a box full of books and in it were 2 books
with covers I loved.  One has a fall print and the other
has a winter print, so they seemed perfect to turn in to little seasonal chalkboards.
I used painter's tape to block off the area I didn't want painted,
and added a few coats of chalkboard paint.  I used my blow dryer to
speed up the drying between coats of paint.
I love projects that take less than 10 minutes.
Here's my winter one.  It was raining a little when I carried it
outside to take the photo, so my chalk message got dripped on.
We're having a totally rainy weekend, so it's a good
time to stay indoors and work on more projects and do some cleaning.

Hope you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!
Angie
