Summer's almost over, but I love this border that came from an early 1900's
Etude magazine. The back pages of the magazines had an
advertising section with ads aimed at singers and musicians.
This cute border was for the section of summer school advertisements.
Here it is with the words removed, so you can add your own text.
This beautiful floral frame was originally the title page
of a 1906 book called, "Benjamin Franklin; His Life".
I think this would make a pretty recipe card.
I didn't and wouldn't have been happy about it.
I liked lazy summer days as a kid and would
have seriously rebelled if I'd been forced to sit behind a desk.
