Good grief, I didn't even realize I spelled "projector" wrong
on the chalkboard and wrote the word "chalkboard" when I meant
to say, "auctions" in my first sentence. I think I need more sleep...or better glasses.
I've been resisting the urge to go tochalkboards auctions for the last month,
and my goal has been to complete projects I already have taking
space in my workshop, so I finally got out my paintbrushes
last week and have made a pretty good dent. Here's a few I finished.

I've had this projector screen for at least a year and it's actually the 2nd one I've purchased.

There isn't a high demand for projector screens, so if you come across them in thrift stores, you can
usually get them pretty inexpensively.

We love watching movies outdoors during the summer, so I bought it with that in mind, but my husband said he wanted a larger screen, so it's just been sitting in my workshop.

A few coats of chalkboard paint later and it's ready to go.
I also finished this cute bread box and it sold quickly.
I painted and distressed a few spice racks also.

And this candle stand got a new paint job and got paired with an old metal
strainer to make a pedestal bowl. It's listed in my shop, but I've got it in
my kitchen with bananas in it, so if it doesn't sell, I'll enjoy using it.

I've also painted several wooden tote baskets that I'm still putting some
finishing touches and have some more projects to start painting.
This wooden wall calendar looks pretty 70's right now, but
I think with some fresh paint it will look wonderful. There
are rods inside that you turn to change the date.

so I may break down and go to the auction next week.

You are so creative! I will have to pass the projector screen idea along to my son for our granddaughters. So easy to set up on the veranda and then pack away when they are done. No dust in the house!
