Today's Pickins'

It's been awhile since I've shown
 some of the "pickins"
I've brought home lately,
mainly because I've forced
myself to stay home from
the auctions the last few weeks.

Our family has been insanely busy lately,
and I'm up to my ears in house remodeling,
packing & shipping goods that have sold,
and the general disaster my house is.

But this week I was in town
20 minutes before auction time,
and just couldn't resist the urge
and had to go.

Here's some of what I brought back.
Some items I'm keeping for myself,
but several of them can be found
at Knick of Time on Etsy.
(you can click on the photos to
go to the Etsy listings)

Here's some jewelry I'm keeping.

I love these old faux  pearl necklaces, but
I think the clasps are as lovely as the necklace.
I haven't decided if I'll sell this one
or not, but let me know if you are interested.

These sweet little wheels
were attached to a baby stroller.
The stroller was in bad shape,
but I'm a sucker for wheels.

This old, leather portfolio looks like
something a lawyer or professor would have
carried.  It was filled with old music.
Here's the music that was inside.

2 vintage Typesetter's Drawers -
I always love these,
but don't find them at
reasonable prices very often.

A vintage metal "Looper Loom".
My sister & I had one of these
when we were growing up,
and I loved making potholders on them.

A lovely, old ironstone bowl.
Lots of crazing...just how I like them.
Sorry, it's a keeper.

A Rat Trap!
I think this would make a really cool note holder or small clip board.

and a Kodak Brownie camera from the early 60's
to add to my budding collection.

There's quite a bit more I've
brought home this week, but
I haven't photographed all of it yet.

Keep your eye on my shop listings
on the sidebar to see what
other goodies I found.

Hope you've had a week of Good Pickins?

I can frequently be found visiting these parties.

  2. Ohhh, it's such a hard decision to pick just one, but.... I think I have to go with the.... the buggy wheels. The brownie comes in close second.
