The Golden Rule{r} & a Horn to Toot

We spent the day out of town
yesterday at my son's basketball tournament,
so in between games, my husband and I
ventured around looking for some thrift stores.

We didn't find many thrift stores,
but did come across a few antique
stores and one tiny indoor flea market.

I didn't bring much home with me,
but I did find 2 really cool items.

This sweet little ruler was a promotional item given
away by the Coca Cola Company.
You don't find too many companies
that give away promotional items
with the golden rule or anything
else biblically-related these days.
It's a keeper!

This old brass horn is just
fantastic and is listed at
Knick of Time on Etsy now,
but I'll admit, I won't be
sad if it doesn't sell.

The patina and dings on the brass are fabulous.
