I decided to take a soak in the tub
while browsing through the Knick of Time Tuesday
submissions from last week,
and let's just say that by the time I was done...
I was a prune!
Beautiful stuff, everyone!
Last month, I almost bid on a lovely piano,
not because I needed the piano (although it was beautiful),
but because I wanted the stool that went with it.
Common sense kicked in,
that I have NO room for a huge piano,
so I resisted the urge, but still kicked myself later.
Tammy at Homespun Happenings
did a gorgeous transformation on a piano stool
that makes me kick myself all over again for not
buying that piano and stool!
I am totally lusting loving,
what Linda at Itsy Bits and Pieces
did with some antique photos,
vocabulary cards and trouser hangers.
She's got a great shop on Etsy,
and sells these vocabulary cards there,
so make sure to check her out!
I just ordered a terrific set of alphabet cards from her. :0)
And last, but certainly not least is
She got some amazing deals
at a city-wide yard sale,
like a vintage scale for 3 bucks
and some adorable grasshopper cages for 4 bucks and a quarter.
She's looking for opinions on what to do
with these, so drop by and give her your thoughts.
I'd be filling them with some vintage goodies
and making them a table centerpiece.
One thing that really revived a childhood
memory for me though was the
Bing Cosby Christmas album she got for 1 buck!
We always had Bing crooning in the background
when we put our Christmas tree up, so I just love her find!
If you were featured here today,
don't forget to grab the
"I Was Featured" button on the sidebar!
I wish I could feature every entry that was submitted,
because I definately loved more than 3!
If you didn't check them all out last week,
please do so now, or you'll miss some real treats!
For those who linked up last week,
I offered a chance to win one of my
Tattered Book Stacks.
Because I still can't figure out how
to get a screen shot of the random number generator
on my blog, I chose an equally professional
method of choosing the winner.
I yelled from the bathroom to my husband in the kitchen
to pick a number for me.
He picked #9, which is...
